About VWP

What is VWP?

It is a general purpose web based tool to simulate some aspects of a work placement by virtual means. VWP is designed to facilitate the presentation of real-world case study material in a realistic way for the students to complete a project within specified time constraints.

Who uses VWP?

Lecturers, teachers and trainers who have a need to link classroom training with the requirements of business.

How does VWP work?

VWP students are initially faced with a website of the organisation that requires their services and access to a contractor's area with further materials.

As the scenario unfolds, the administrator releases more materials, often including multi-media content. When the content raises questions, the students can email various people within the target organisation and the administrator can use the tool to rapidly answer their questions from pre-determined set of questions for that assessment.
